'LIMBS' JONES is the Nuclear Engine Stoker aboard the Starship Boiling Hell. He was killed in an explosion in the Engine Room, and Officer Scarlette brought him back to life using the 'Repro-Corpse' Genetic Copier.

In the Captain Star TV series Jones is played by Adrain Edmonson, of Eighties British TV comedy The Young Ones. In the first episode he sings a wonderful engine-stoking space shanty:

Oh I was in a horrible accident
in a great big atomic furnace - oh
they thought for certain that I was dead
but I came out with a multiplied head
nine heads in all!
I had two arms when I walked in there
one on the left and one on the right
when I walked back out I had four more
a total of six, if you're keeping score
six arms in all!
