As I'm not yet teaching GCSE, I'm afraid I didn't pay attention to which board it was, it could have been any (it wasn't the board running the course as far as I remember). The issue was to with a requirement for data (I think on exam results) to be <strong>sorted</strong> as well as written to a file; the person concerned had been teaching Python but not databases, and felt that this particular task was too complex in Python (but easier in some other languages), and so chose a different task.
