		<description>Thanks so much for your information here! I tried to revive a 2006 pre-Intel iMac that had done this. It was limping along on little space and then hadn&#039;t been on for a couple of years. Next boot, logon/password then nothing but mouse pointer. Between your instructions and some cache removal I managed to clear just under 2GB and it&#039;s now back to life, albeit only running Snow Leopard (just used for running an old scanner). It&#039;ll end up with a linux of some kind.</description>
