Don't call it wallpaper!


...as they say at Resexcellence.
Here are some desktop designs based on one of my own pieces of artwork... these are my first attempts to do anything vaguely in the style of the Lemonjelly sleeves, although I don't think they'd ever put images like this on the cover of one of their albums. I just needed a figure with high contrast on a plain background, and this was the first image that I found. Honest.

Here are a few more images in two sets of resolutions, designed for my old bondi blue iMac and my ice iBook - sorry if you have a higher screen resolution. The first is adapted from Peter Saville's gorgeously simple sleeve for New Order's True Faith.

The the second is Gillian Anderson, taken from her 1996 FHM cover with some Aqua-blue style noodlings in the background.

The third is a picture called 'Portrait avec Voilette' from 1985 taken by Jeanloup Sieff - I've had this knocking around for ages and you can see the original here. I made it a bit 'softer' by draping a dark shadow over one corner.
