About this blog

I’m a father-of-three, living and working in London. We love cooking and this site is a hobby, my personal online scrap-book of useful, delicious every day recipes. I refer to it all the time, which is why I’ve now made it phone-friendly.

This is the place to find and share the every day recipes that get you and your family through the week. Nothing too fancy, just simple, tasty meals.

We have a dozen or so regular meals that we love but which we do occasionally get bored with – if we all share our favourite supper meals we can all enjoy a greater variety of healthy, tasty food.

I’d love to hear from people who have recipes to contribute. Please sign up or email me – giles dot booth at gmail dot com.

Notes for contributors

Please list the ingredients first and then give the method.

Categories are important – they help people find recipes by ingredients, useful if you know you have something in the fridge and want to use it up. Use categories to list the key ingredients, so please use the categories. If there isn’t already a category for the main ingredient you’re using, then add one, but please type carefully. If in doubt use plurals – for example ‘mushrooms’ not ‘mushroom’.

There are also some general categories like vegetarian, and some broad categories like meat and fish which have sub-categories like ‘haddock’ and ‘chicken’. This should make it easier for people to find what they want.
