I have very mixed feelings about Apple’s switch to Intel processors.

I see why they’ve done it - IBM haven’t come up with the goods, such as a cool low-power G5 for laptops, and they’ve been too busy making processors for Microsoft’s X-Box.

But then I’ve just bought a Mac with a PowerPC processor in it, and I’m wondering if it will ever be able to run the next version of Mac OS X.

And somehow I can’t see an ‘Intel inside’ sticker on a PowerBook…
